Brand Name Blurring

On later AFHV shows, I see that the time/date stamp on the recordings are blurred out as well! What formerly said 5:26PM and 5/12/92 on the lower right is now blurred out. Guess people don't need to know how old it was!

But ANTI-BLURRING is seen a lot on Seinfeld. Most episodes involving the kitchen (especially in later seasons) you can definitely see a box of Honey Comb cereal (Post) and Post Waffle Crisp cereal.

I would like to know how it is a prank show host can be wearing a blurry T-shirt. I suppose he thought it would be all right when he wore it and then found out later it wouldn't.

You know few television shows that don't well in the ratings, but because of product placements, they are making money from it, such as The Price is Right, Let's make a Deal, and Celebrity Apprentice.

It seems that in older TPiR Barker episodes, the announcer (Olson, Roddy, Fields) would usually put a product placement in their announcement (during games that involved grocery products). The mention of "Enjoy Campbell's Tomato Soup!" later became "Enjoy this can of tomato soup" etc etc by the time Drew took over. I guess CBS didn't need product placement when they had the Scooter Store and Hoveround!
