Brantley and The Babe?

She must have finally gotten bored hanging around the house. How long until she tires of Brantley? She has always flown solo and he is not an engaging partner.

Nanci's first Tampa Bay gig was a rather unlikely pairing with Tedd Webb.

Interesting that the Tampa Bay radio market has recently heated up. After a period of rather complacent peaceful co-existence, Cox goes out and grabs Bubba. Ok, going after the morning drive period makes plenty of sense, but it's harder to figure why the powers that be have decided to go to war on the AM dial with local sports talk.

Not that I"m complaining: variety, local programming and real competition are good things in my book.

I believe The Babe has radio in her blood. She's like so many others. She gets sick of the drama in the business, so she leaves. But her love for radio in general comes back to the surface after being dormant for a while. It's like many other specialized professions. You begin to miss it after a while. Not all the drama, but the good people, the work itself, etc. I think this is the case with her.

I think a pairing with Brantley could go well if she runs the show and he provides the insight with his knowledge particularly in football in a complimentary fashion. Brantley being by himself, in spite of his knowledge, was just bad radio.
