Does this mean that Brattleboro cable carried both WTEN and WCDC? That would have been pretty pointless, as AFAIK WCDC was a straight simulcast of WTEN with no local origination.

Or is this just the newspaper's TV listings, and meant for OTA viewers who would have gotten WCDC on channel 19?

All these listings were indicated as being cable lineups by the Reformer...the weird thing was WBZ, WMTW, WMUR, and WTEN were listed by their channel numbers, but everyone else was listed by their call letters!

I have to suspect that whoever edited these listings at The Reformer didn't really understand what they were doing, may not have understood how cable TV lineups work, and might not have been the sharpest knife in the drawer. For the kind of person who just watches programs and doesn't regard what channel or network they are on, that would be an easy mistake to make. It may sound kind of dimwitted to hobbyists such as us, but there are many people who just think in terms of channel numbers (whether OTA or cable slots) and don't really know which station is which, or where they come from, or what network they are affiliated with.
