Brauner Phantom C... or Gefell M930?

I've been reading A LOT of reviews regarding the "new" Brauner Phantom C condenser. Every - yes EVERY reviewer compares it to the u87 - and it gets a better review everytime.

Also, the Gefell M930 gets better reviews than the TLM103 - and it costs less.

Anyone use any of these mics?

I also had the marbles to email Don LaFontaine. Nice guy. We wrote back and forth a few times. he's using the Manley Reference Tube Condenser directly into Pro Tools (for mp3 upload) and that's it. No other box other than the pre-amp it comes with.
