I'm trying to get the Trial version of Breakaway One to work with the Delta 44 card. So far I haven't gotten past the Configuration stage. Have tried all Input/Output combinations and still can't hear the Test Tones. Any configuration instructions would be much appreciated.
Tried restarting. Still no joy. The software "sees" the Delta card and the "Run Test" button works, displaying the % jitter. But still can't hear the Test Tones.
Am using 5.10.0.5057 driver with Windows xp Pro SP3. That driver is the one recommended by somebody years ago on this forum. It works perfectly playing music from the PC CD player. There have been no subsequent updates for Win xp machines. That raises an issue that I've been wondering about. There is an ASIO button on the config screen which suggests that maybe the software is reassigning the driver to ASIO. But I dunno....
I was sorta hoping that Leif would get on here for straight-from-the-horse's-mouth advice. But I think the last time he was active on this forum was about Nov. 2008 (p. 149). Too much to hope for, I know.
