Has anyone following this post ran BBP and the current Stereo Tool on the same Marian Trace Alpha sound card? If so, what are your observations regarding the tightness of the peak control? In my case, the transmitter is a BW 1 watt exciter board (an exciter known for having no overshoots) & the monitor is an Inovonics 530. I notice a repeatable difference but that's all I'm saying for now.
BBP is a bit tighter. At least, that's my experience.
Mine is the opposite. BBP lets 2-3% above average peaks slip by but my ST install is the LED meter equivalent of the proverbial stuck needle.
Now that's interesting. What (non modified) BBP preset compared with what (non modified) ST preset? BTW, I use 50uS...

BBP was using Reference Heavy with speed at 0 and ST was using FM Transmitter US, Stereo. 75 us in each case. Minor modifications in each case. I find that running BBP's speed at 0 results in a more open sound without sacrificing much, if any, loudness. I've sometimes wished the speed slider would go "below 0".
