No!! not Judas Priests great tune, but Mike Stone who continues to run illegal WSKR on 97.7. Now, they are pumping out more power than ever, they are over-modulating and stepping all over the Hawk, almost as far as OGL. The power has increased dramatically over the last few days, they are bold enough to have sponsors, phone numbers, studio address contacts, email addys, a website. They continue to spew hate and discontent over the airwaves, getting their vicious message across, sandwiched inbetween, you guessed it, Rap and Hip Hop cuts. Why isn't the FCC looking into this, I have contacted them many times, this is when they were at lower power, nothing was done, now they are way above any laws. They are a pirate, they should be taken off the air and Stone should be jailed for operating this station illegally for over 5 years, instead he is being labeled a hero, taking on "THE MAN". I am now going to contact WTHK, I know they won't be happy, especially after they move their Xmtr and become a local outlet, lets see what happenes to Mr. Stone then, oh yeh!! the chicken "S" FCC will do nothing, as the Race card will be played once again. Before anyone slanders me, my element does not participate in illegal actions, they are law abiding citizens, the other element is always looking for trouble, bottom line, don't break the FCC laws, if so, be accountable.
 
Honestly, why is this guy still allowed to post here? It's the same drivel day in and day out. Occasionally to his credit the guy will make a decent point (any moron can see that rock radio in Philly is severely lacking, but c'mon knowing Wink Martindale had a hit record I'm pretty impressed.) but it's hard to take the points that are good seriously when it is surronded by nothing but hate.Call the Hawk, Call the FCC, file the complaints. Don't come posting here cause you've seen time and time again it doesn't DO ANYTHING. You want action take it. But honestly, enough... I know I speak for a lot of people when I say I'm tired of reading the same trash disguised different ways. I get it rock GOOOOOOOD... hip hop BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD.White people GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.... Black/Hispanics BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD.English GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD... Any other language BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD.Oldies GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. DANCE BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD.There I summed up your next 50 posts. Guess we don't need you any more.
 
This guy has serious issues. As you said, he always brings up the race card and half of what he says never makes any sense.Lets chip in and buy him a room at local mental institution..

That's the best idea I've heard on any board in along time! Think of the public service angle. We could probably write it off!
 
I'm just trying to figure out what he meant by his "element?"I'm sure I can dig up plenty of rock-loving white people who are criminals.
 
FYI

Not that I owe any of you an explanation, but I was in contact with Nassau Broadcasting and they are extremely concerned about this pirate and thanked me, I will be informed of progress and action taken. Also, I have received private messages on this site from interested parties about this illegal pirate. So you see, what I posted was not out of line like your righteous minds think, it was appreciated, its the few of you that ridicule me openly. Would you like it if a pirate overran your station, that is if you ever owned one. Think about that.
 
Yo none of us CARE about you ratting out the pirate. I think you're doing a good thing with that. It's the unneccasary constant social commentary.
 
How about posting an aircheck (like I posted several months ago), and then sending the same to the FCC and Nassau? I never seem to catch them anymore.
 
The FCC HAS to catch the pirate in the act of modulating........ I know a pirate in RHode Island who was only on weekends and it took the FCC years to catch him...

Dude why do you care that someone is a pirate? Maybe because they're playing hip-hop/rap? I would lay down serious money that if this pirate was playing hair bands and the complete crap that they label "New Rock" you would be singing their praises. Bite me.
