Breaking: Conan FINALLY Signs Deal To Leave NBC

Oh, and the deal also includes a pact that Conan not appear on any other shows, let alone host his own, for the foreseeable future.

But how will Conan survive until he's able to work again? $32.5 million doesn't go very far in this economy, you know. ;D

Actually, if the reported expiration date of his 'no compete' clause is September 1st, he's doing fine. People are not going to forget him in that short period, and it only gives Leno a 6 month lead after his March 1st start date. Of course, if Conan wants to succed, he had better come up with a show that's superior (edgier, I would think) than his Tonight Show effort.

Forseeable future? That's not true. He is allowed back on the air September 1.
