Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse. But I listened to 102.5 numerous times driving to places over the weekend and don't think I heard a SINGLE 70s song. I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe I just listened in at the right times.
Then today came and with the little time I spent in the car, I've already heard THREE. And, yes, even though it's technically from the 80s, for God's sake, just how can they say that "Total Eclipse of the Heart" is better than the "slow, stale Magic". It's exactly that - SLOW and STALE!
Anyway, unless I just got lucky over the weekend, I'm starting to wonder if they mix some older and slower songs in during the week just so Delilah doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Maybe if they ever get around to dumping her they'll dump the 70s crap with her (don't get me wrong, there's some 70s songs I used to like, but I'm tired of them and they certainly don't belong on the "fresh" 102.5).
I'm a hypocrite because I'll still continue to listen only because there isn't much else that I can stand in the Upstate.
