Breaking News about WASH-FM

Oh, not to distract from the news about Lori Brooks, but Bill Worthington also left about a week ago. His leaving is much more ambiguous: he stated on his facebook that it's "a new day - quite exciting, if you ask me." Either he quietly resigned, or is taking being let go in stride.

So basically, the weekday lineup will be like this.

5-9: Loo Katz.
9-2: Maureen McLain
2-7: I believe that one of the weekend DJs will take over.
7-12: Delilah

Does anyone get tired of the phrase "Breaking News" like me? Everyone newscast on everystation in Norfolk VA uses that phrase several times each newscast. There must have been a study showing that phrase increases ratings.

ESPNews used to have a bullet on the bottom of their screen that displayed "breaking news" all the time; problem was, most of the time, the news was hours old. So they done away with it, and rightly so.
