TIC TAK JUST REPORTED ONAIR THERE IS A FIRE NEAR THERE STUDIOS UPDATE- HE IS SAYIN HOW NONE OF THE STATIONS IN TOWN IS REPORTING THIS NICE WAY TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION AT TV FOLKS WAY TO GO TIC PROUD OF YOU MAN.
 
Once again enforcing all of the jocks' golly gee tourist hick image.
I thought jocks were supposed to act like they were cooler than their listeners.
Teens are goofing on these rubes.
 
Update tv is on this MYFOXNY.COM - The FDNY has responded to an all-hands fire in a restaurant Midtown Thursday, authorities said.

An explosion in the kitchen of La Bonne Soupe sparked the fire.

The restaurant is in a 5-story building on West 55th Street, near 6th Avenue.

There is no word of injuries yet.

News flash to you and those yokel tourist jocks you salivate after: there are fires (and building evacuations) in Manhattan every day.
By some chance, your heroes may be in NY long enough to learn that.
(And maybe learn that posting that they hate rock music is far from cool. If Kanye can like rock, Scrabble and Fatso can learn to like it too.)

That FIRE is NO BIG news. It's a small town mentality thinking the world revolves around 57th street. How about the underground volcano? Did he report on that?
Any Real New Yorker knows
That street is all offices that are all empty on a weekend anyways.

Plus we know the FDNY has it ALL under control at all times. You don't attract more people to it. The hint is to not worry traffic or create people to rush towards it to see it. ::)

Yup. As I said before, the jocks give the image of small town tourists on a sightseeing trip to NY. Shouldn't CHR jocks try to sound cool? The teens must be totally goofing on them.

But we can't really blame it on the jocks. Everything sounds tightly planned. More than any other station, including CBS sister Fresh, the jocks sound like they are "executing the format."

This is probably the first time the jocks on 92.3 Now are living in New York City. Lisa Paige gives the impression of a dumb blonde on Now, she didn't do that on Q102. Tic Tak overdramatized a small fire that he happened to see outside the window. There are several fires every day in Manhattan. But Tic Tak gave the impression that it was an inferno. And Chunky said "your mom is a slut" to a caller who asked about what happened to k-rock. I wonder who is telling the jocks to act immature on the air.

Possibly maybe a promoter for Z100? That's the kind of response promoters get when a new station is in town, especially if one is your competition.
