The Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters has announced that former Oklahoma City radio executive Vance Harrison, Jr. has been named to replace current OAB president Carl Smith. Harrison will join the OAB as president designate on Jan. 1, 2007 and serve in that capacity until Smith officially steps down due to health reasons early next year. Harrison is a past chairman, VP, treasurer, and board member of OAB.
