Breaking News on The Buzz...

Via the Buzz's Facebook page, "Enjoy the Holiday music through the New Years weekend, then get ready for a fresh new radio station starting Monday! Santa brought us something really special this year and we can't wait to share it with, you!"

Some type of Rhythmic-leaning or female-targeted format, I take it? :)

So, they were referring to the other "crush" (as in unrequited love) rather than "crushing" as in destroying :p

It will be interesting to see who they decide on as a morning show person/team. Will Mike Morgan do the morning show duties along with his Program Director's hat? I wonder how live they will be, any predictions?

I think he will give everyone 1 week to show him your best stuff then he will decide. Put on the air the best fo the best, period. There are some I would really re-evaluate. I also think the morning show needs a sidekick. Not many morning shows these days will do well with one person. If you want to compete with Fly, or example, then go Live. Mike knows what to do.

"We love Katy Perry, Pink, Ke$sha, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Nelly, Usher, Black Eyed Peas, Enrique Iglesias, Chris Brown" ~105.7 Crush FM's Facebook page

Sounds like a Rhythmic station... good call on Townsquare's part. It could wipe out 102.3 Kiss FM and maybe even Jamz 96.3 with that superior signal (remember when B95.5 wiped out K-Lite about fifteen years ago?) :)

Yeah, because Katy Perry and Pink are rhythmic. (that's a joke)

Very few CHR-R are playing Pink, if any.

and the only Katy Perry is California Gurls w/ Snoop.

The rest is pop-rhythm.
