Both have been removed from their station web sites as well...
Swapping 99.1 and 105.7's format would be a great idea, and could potentially hurt Jamz (do I smell a format flip or frequency move for Jamz in the future if 99.1/105.7 swapped?)

This could be one of two things:
I'm hearing that one of the Townsquare stations will be changing format and that Wolf will be taking over mornings on it when his non-compete runs out in September. This could be a move to free up money ahead of time, but they could of axed air talent instead.
Or, the OM is cleaning house and bringing in his own people.

Forget 99.1 swapping with 105.7 we need another oldies station to compete with WTRY and not be afraid to play oldies from the 50s and 60s with the 70s.
We also need a better Classic Rock station here, as PYX is barely listenable... if not swap 99.1/105.7, how about 105.7 go Classic Rock and 103.9 go all Modern? 
Looking around for domains, I found this one registered by Townsquare just yesterday... they still also have 991themountain.com from that Sunny debacle months ago Wolf on Q103 (displacing Free Beer and Hot Wings) or even 104.5 the Team maybe? Hot on 105.7 could perhaps force Jamz to move to 100.9 eventually if they want to stick around

i live in east tennessee but i have an aunt who lives in hudson area and an aunt and uncle who live in saratooga springs area. i listen to alot of radio and hate formats right when i like a station so much. news/talk and sports formats on fm are stupid. put it on the am dial and leave it there where it belongs. religious programming on fm is stupid to. if you do religious programming on fm make the churchs and preachers that do that buy the station. they will want to sell it within a year. i am making list of what i call my top 20 favorite radio stations across the usa. wkli 100.9 finally has a great format. they make wqbk 103. 1 and wpyx 106.5 sound stupid. t is rock music that i know and love. wqsh 105.7 crush fm is a good radio station. it makes wrve 99.5 the river sound so dumb and boring. wgy 103.1 news talk and wdcd 96.7 religious - what a waste of a good signal. shame on you clear channel for putting news/talk format on a good radio signal 103.1. ugh!! not sure if any one agree with me or not. 45 year old male here.
