Caught an interesting block of programming yesterday on KPHX 1480 AM. Anyone else hear it? On for a few hours mid-day Saturday. Called Breakthrough Radio and had different shows devoted to movies, sports, etc. Very unique (entertaining but insightful) approach to the discussions and genuinely funny (non-loudmouth) hosts for a change. Going to try to catch it again...

Looks very similar to "LA Talk Radio" (where Cindy Brandy -- er, I mean Susan Olsen does a talk show). Though if this is the second internet-based show to hit the airwaves (after the one on 92.3), then I hope it can eventually spell the end of Purity Products infomercials and Best Of Ramsey filler. Also a breakthrough that they apparently have more than one listener.
Are they still passing out bumper stickers? I want to put one on an old car I want to get rid of and park it outside one of Broomhead's remote broadcasts. I figure the Broomheadians will reduce the car to pieces and I can collect the insurance.

Not really sure on what you're talking about or why Broomheadians would take offense with this block. Caught a little bit of it again last weekend and from what I heard it was very entertainment-based. Not exactly controversial radio so... Either way, sign me up for a bumper sticker.
