Brian Burns' Momma passed away

Wanda Burns of Waco, TX died at her home in Richland Hills Tuesday night, surrounded by family and friends, after a lengthy battle with cancer. The love, laughter, and kindness that comprised her life remained with her until the end. Mrs. Burns is survived by two children, Vickie Riel and her husband Rick Riel of Bedford, TX and Brian Burns and his wife Veronica Burns of Arlington, TX; five grandchildren, Deanna White and her husband David White of Keller, TX, Jamie James and her husband Bryan James of North Richland Hills, TX, Ryan & Amanda Gilbert of Mansfield, TX, and Jessica Burns of Fergus Falls, MN; five great-grandchildren, Will & Hunter James of North Richland Hills, TX, and Davis, Drake, & Delaney White of Keller, TX. Mrs. Burns was also loved and cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and fellow church members. Her life's mission was to make the path a little lighter for those whose lives touched hers. And so she did.

Visitation: Friday 6 to 8 PM, Shannon Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Dr., Ft. Worth
Funeral Service: Saturday 10:00 AM, Shannon Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Dr., Ft. Worth
Grave Site Service: Saturday 3:00 PM, Rosemound Cemetery, 3201 S. 12th St., Waco, TX

Lets remember Brian and Veronica in our prayers
 
I take it that this isn't Brian Burns of KRLD, who is (perhaps was?) married to Teresa Hanson (Burns) of KAAM.

Either way, my sympathy goes out to the family.
 
The Brian Burns in question is the Americana artist from the Ft. Worth area.
 
I had already talked to both Brian and Teresa, about this, and they confirmed that it was not HIS mother that passed away, none the less, I do wish to send my sympathies to the Burns family on their lost...

Brian and Teresa are well with their child Abrianna, and they live in the Beaumont area... and living well!
