Wanda Burns of Waco, TX died at her home in Richland Hills Tuesday night, surrounded by family and friends, after a lengthy battle with cancer. The love, laughter, and kindness that comprised her life remained with her until the end. Mrs. Burns is survived by two children, Vickie Riel and her husband Rick Riel of Bedford, TX and Brian Burns and his wife Veronica Burns of Arlington, TX; five grandchildren, Deanna White and her husband David White of Keller, TX, Jamie James and her husband Bryan James of North Richland Hills, TX, Ryan & Amanda Gilbert of Mansfield, TX, and Jessica Burns of Fergus Falls, MN; five great-grandchildren, Will & Hunter James of North Richland Hills, TX, and Davis, Drake, & Delaney White of Keller, TX. Mrs. Burns was also loved and cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and fellow church members. Her life's mission was to make the path a little lighter for those whose lives touched hers. And so she did.
