Brian Christopher (Lawler), Former WWE wrestler, dies at 46

http://www.tmz.com/2018/07/29/wwe-grandmaster-sexay-brian-christopher-lawler-dead-at-46/

Former WWE champ Brian Christopher Lawler -- aka Grandmaster Sexay -- has died after hanging himself in jail this weekend.

Lawler's mother, Kay, tells TMZ Sports Brian passed away Sunday surrounded by family and friends after being placed on life support Saturday night following a suicide attempt in jail. He was surrounded by his father, Jerry Lawler, his brother, Kevin, and other family.

today was not a good day for Pro Wrestling in general, he was one of 3 deaths today (4 if you count Omega Pro co-founder Tracy Caddell, who is the father of Impact Wrestling wrestler Trevor Lee). the other 2 were Brickhouse Brown (who last week was reported dead but only for all the wrestling news sites to retract it after it turned out he didn't die yet) and the other is Nikolai Volkoff.

This one is really more painful cause, he had a drug problem and knew he was about to spend a long stint in a prison. he took the easy way out, to avoid further time behind bars and sadly, the demons he was battling (drug addiction, and having to live in his father's shadows in pro wrestling) won the battle with him. my thoughts and prayers goes out to Jerry The King and the rest of the Lawler family.

I found out one of his more recent arrests (Brian Lawler’s) was for skipping out on a $802 hotel bill at a Hampton Inn in Memphis.

As a man who gave up on the glamorous world of radio to get into the glamorous world of running mid-level hotels (such as Hampton Inns), the fact that a hotel let him accrue $800 in charges was the most surprising to me. They authorize your card for any additional money at least daily...and considering Hampton Inns do not have room service (or really any room over $400/night), means he somehow conned his way into staying in a room for at least two nights without there being an issue

Seriously. Plus defrauding an innkeeper is a FEDERAL rap.
