Brian Copeland Surgery Update

KGO's Brian Copeland underwent "routine" spinal surgery on Monday. On his program this morning, Ronn Owens mentioned that he spoke with Copie today, and he expects to be back on the air in a few weeks.
 
With all that has sadly transpired at KGO in the last year, many of us as ardent listeners are grateful to the true talent that has stepped up (and in) to fill the gaps in these unfortunate times. KGO has remained strong and will continue to be.

Best wishes for a speedy-but-sure total recovery for Brian. And thanks to Pat Thurston for fast becoming a favorite in fill-in duty. In time, there will be more of a place for her talent, as well, on KGO.

And Christine, here's hoping you have a place as the next, and well deserved, fulltime host on KGO in the late night. Though a bit dismissive to "the other side" at times, you are, without doubt, "The LionESS of the Left!" Keep up the great work Glad you're on for the next two weeks and, hopefully, thereafter.
