I have to tell you that this board sucks now. It used to be fun to come on here and watch guys like Pettybone, Biggus, Slack, Pope and Genius at each others throats. Now you have one failed DJ touting his knowledge and getting bashed by everyone. It's not fun anymore. It's like watching a guy with a sledgehammer swinging it at a bunch of kids at the Special Olympics. After awhile, it gets boring. So, I ask, on behalf of everyone, can we please ban Ocean? I mean even the protagonists don't come here anymore. This board used to be the best on Radio Info, now, it's just about one P*SSY who couldn't make it in the biz. It's f**kin depressing.

What if somebody puts a bounty on the head of Brian Ocean? Could that work? Does anyone know somebody that knows somebody? Is there any Clear Channel guys on here who can get somebody over at Pyramid to help us wack him? How about over at Citadel? Somebody over there must know how to kill someone, I mean, look what they did to 95X.

Please. Mr. Moderator? Hello? BW? You there? Can you put a stop to Brian Ocean? He's like a Tsunami with A.D.D.

Brian, you are killing me.

Look Out, Old Machi's Back...

Nice to hear that you're starting the new year by keeping things in perspective...

Embrace da hate!

When people that go at it like rabid cats and dogs start agreeing on something it's time for action. I may be a vicious bastage, but at least with you guys I get some props for being an artful vicious bastage. It's no fun mocking someone when everything you say goes sailing right over their mullet-bedecked head.

Stay Sharp,
Kitana!

Y'know, I have to agree with the original post. I've trecked over to this bord from my tree-stand in the Buffalo-Rochester board to study the fine art literary fencing and occasionally join the fracas for which this board has become famous.

And as of late, what has it become? A forum for guy who more resembles a puppy who refuses to become house-trained even after his nose has been rubbed in the piddle than he resembles a writer or broadcaster.

It's genuinely sad.

Dickus returns to the board after his hiatus at the monastery, self-imposed exile in Old Forge or incarceration, and what does he do? Takes apart a guy who can barely coherently write, "See spot run, run spot run." It's like watching a HumVee take on a Yugo in a demolition derby.

Guys like Rox and Bone others then get caught up in the vortex of insipidness. Everybody else watches and says, "This isn't pretty, I'll pass."

I mean, it's not like I'm F. Scott Fitzgerald or John Steinbeck for cryin' out loud, but thanks to the contributions of one nimrod, the board has kinda sunk to the level of My Weekly Reader... which come to think of it, was more inspiring than just about anything Mr. Nimrod has posted in the last few weeks.

Let's get back to stuff that more closely resembles Gore Vidal v. William F. Buckley. Make us proud once again.
______________

Oh Bone

Oh bone, c'mon, the only reason you want Ocean around, is he's the only one more pathetic than YOU.

Whatever

Mike, that was quite long winded. Do you want to know whats funny? If i was Rockefeller they would be begging like doggies. All i have to say here again...is radio is gonna get worse. Tomorrow is the 6th, and the reason why things are bad is because of the core values of a lot of the people in the business. Nobody in this forum can call themselves a programmer, or a decent person for that matter. There are a lot of people that want that changed.
______________

Longwinded? Ha! One of my shorter pieces, bro.

Know what's really funny? Somebody ranting about "the core values of a lot of people in the business..." Time to call out the Morality Police, eh?

I'm tempted to post "how I spent my summer" in Mexico working with the Maryknoll missionairies, but this doesn't seem the proper forum. No need to demonstrate what a "decent person" I am. Fact is, I'm flawed and occasionally a rat bastage like the rest of humanity.

Re: Right

Its the lower 10 percent that are rat bastards. You dont represent 90% of the people that dont have an opinion at all. Normal people.
______________

Let me translate: If I had power, influence, or intelligence people would actually be listening to me. But I don't. So they aren't.

10 PRINT "HELLO WORLD"
20 GOTO 10

I gotz da mad programmin' skillz!!!11!1!

Oh, puhleeeze. Just because we mock a talentless, mullet-bedecked idiot doesn't mean we're not wonderful people. Heck, a lot of folks would say thats exactly *what* makes us wonderful people.

It would be crude of me to point out that I've donated one of my livers to keep a poor boy-child from Zimbalistan alive, so I won't.

> There are a

Sadly, they don't actually have jobs in radio and are scrounging a living selling beautiful decorative wooden shovels. But someday, mark my words, they'll make a difference! Real soon!

Until then, "Would you like the Frosted Cranberry finish with the dancing brooms, or would you prefer the Weasel-Fur Beige with the country-style duck silhouettes?"

Stay sharp,
Kitana!

Duh

The bottom 10 percent may think your repeating yourself is funny. The rest dont give a crap. Learn it. The only thing you can do that will influence what your numbers may think of you is be a jerk. And you brag about doing that quite well. Here comes monday! I hope youre not a part of the plan because da-ship-is gonna- sink. Katrina is on the radar screen 100 miles off shore. And your cocked in Orleans saying "ill ride it out".

WTH are you trying to say here? Your prose is disjointed and lacks clarity.
For a guy who claims to be the "next coming of morning shows," you're frightfully inarticulate.
