Brian Wilson's Book

I just read the book written by Brian Wilson, formerly of Ross & Wilson on Z93 and later a WGST talk show host. It's titled 50 Stories, 50 Years in Radio.

Brian is brilliant and creative, and he's also crazy, which made for some great radio. And those traits combined with the uncertainty and insecurity of the radio business make the book a great read. One caveat: It's very long.

Brian Wilson was associated with some legendary call letters during his long career.

When was Brian Wilson on WGST?

Was there any reference to the "Another One Bites The Dust" urban legend (which supposedly did NOT happen)?

Firebird answered your first question.

Yes, the "Another One Bites the Dust" legend was one of Brian's 50 stories in the book. That legend, which as you say did not happen, followed Brian around. He mentioned that one time he was sitting on a plane next to someone who swore he heard it on the air.
