WAUK's Part-Time Dilemma Now Gets Bigger

It's a good move for 1510 (days

indeed...but that brings up a point.
How does one do a 3-hour sports talk show that won't even be heard on the radio for nearly half of the length of the show during the winter?
The Young Karmazin and Company have done a decent job stitching together WAUK and WMCS/1290 into a "pseudo" full-time signal. But...it's not quite there. At as early as 4:45 PM in the middle of the winter, WAUK/1510 has to sign off the air, and the station's lease-time agreement with WMCS starts at 6 PM. For an hour and 15 minutes in the winter, "The Homer" will only be heard on the Internet! (And if I'm reading right, he won't be heard in Madison in that time frame, either.)
You don't pick up a lot of traction and ratings when you have to sign off the air in the middle of your show...though other than that, it makes sense for WAUK to throw True up against WSSP's Peter Brown, as he's clearly their strongest host.
Is there any possibility that Good Karma will be able to lease the extra time on 1290? I seem to recall last time I listened that there was an long-time incumbent WMCS talk host in afternoon drive, who probably isn't going anywhere.
Is there any possibility that Good Karma will swap frequencies with WMCS and land on 1290 full-time, and would that even be possible considering coverage of the 1510 frequency in WMCS' target areas of Milwaukee?
