Bring back Terilyn Joe

I think it's time for Terilyn Joe to return to the San Francisco television market. I know she had her critics but overall she was a talented anchor. Fantastic voice, skill and beautiful. Would you like to Terilyn on our screens again soon?

No that is a bad idea. She like the Larry Mendte of the San Francisco market.

She thinks she worth more money than she actually is.

Remember the Egg on the Garbage man incident 10 years ago? Didn't that broke the Camels back in Terilyn Joe. I thought there was something phony about her but I don't know what before that incident.

Funny that tvone would pick Terilyn to bring back. While undoubtedly an attractive woamn, she was probably the most reviled and parodied Bay Area anchor in the last 3 decades, with her plastic hair...not to mention that eternal plastered on smile - even when she was reading tragic stories. Two stations have dumped her - KGO-TV and KNTV.

I want Anna Chavez over Joe to Come back to TV personally she was a great anchor. Anna Chavez and Pete Wilson did a great job in putting Loma Prieta Quake into the National Spotlight. At least Anna Chavez was a real anchor until she left KPIX due to the Group W merger with CBS.

What would the Westinghouse/CBS merger have to do with Anna Chavez leaving? My understanding was that she decided to get out of the TV news business. She had probably made enough money for a lifetime, and decided she could affort to quit, and starting having a life.

Here's the article about her "retirement."

Well I just know that she left the business when that merger happened.

Maybe you have and not known about it! She looks so so so so much different with no make up and her hair pulled back in a pony tail.

Joe was decent as an anchor, and loved Pete Wilson, RIP, but Anna Chavez was so much better than Terilyn Joe.

We were in the Santa Cruz mountains when the quake occurred, but it was KGO and KCBS radio that got us the information we needed after the quake. We had no electricity, so radio was our lifeline for information on the quake. We had radio, along with other residents in the area.

Anna was great(I'm sure she still is) I worked with her for 4 years at channel 7. Great on air, smart and caring. No giant ego.
Folks I know still in TV in SF say she disapeared without a trace. I don't know what personal demons drove her from the biz, maybe her divorce had somethng to do with it. She even used to sub on GMA on ABC. I was surprised that she fled the biz.
Still wondering what she's up to now.

An inflatable woman could report the news better then Terilyn. I miss Anna Chavez. Her and Dave were a good pair on the air.
