Britney Gengel's funeral

I did not know Britney and had never heard of her (or Lynn University) before the Haiti earthquake when we (those of us in Massachusetts, certainly; I live probably 30 minutes from their hometown; Britney's funeral and burial today were in the next town over) all became aware of her story and the Gengel family.

I don't have kids and can't even begin to imagine what it's like to lose a child.

WCVB, WHDH, New England Cable News, and WBZ all aired beautiful and touching stories of the funeral and are carried on their websites.

WBZTV.com also includes footage of the entire eulogies given by her parents, Len and CherylAnn. Heartwrenching stuff: http://wbztv.com/local/britney.gengel.funeral.2.1507579.html

Definitely sounds like a heart of gold to me. Her parents have set up a fund to continue her memory: http://britneygengelspoorestofthepoorfund.com/

Rest in Peace, Britney Gengel.

The funeral was Saturday and each station's website has a story on the funeral.
