Britney Spears is indeed back. Not much of a suprise.

Luckily, she's not back with a horrible song like "My Prerogative". She's back with her new track "Someday I Will Understand". I've noticed it has some relationship with Kevin Federline. To actually say, it's a decent song, more like "Everytime" with more guitars, and sounds like her older stuff before she turned into sex-kitten.

Anyone planning on spinning this track...way better than Jessica Simpson's comeback; that remake she tried to pull off.

Britney is also planning on releasing a new CD. So far, it's gonna be titled "Britney Unleashed", but I'm not quite sure yet.
Edited by spongebag7 on 06/21/05 07:46 PM.

???? What?? Her whole image, ever since she broke into the Pop charts, has been as this Teen Pop sex kitten...unless you're referring to her years working for the Disney Channel.

Comparing her album covers of "Baby One More Time" and "Greatest Hits: My Prerogative".

Which one shows more?

And actually, yes, it does sound like the 90's teen-pop stuff she used to do.

Last I heard, it was "Original Doll" or something like that. Did that get axed, or is this the same CD? That one wasn't due until 2006.

I heard that they were either going to release it as "Original Doll" or "Britney Unleashed". I guess it's Jive Records, go figure.

Anyway, it should have "Mona Lisa", "Chaotic", and "Someday I Will Understand" on it. I guess "Chaotic" wasn't really a single, and neither was "Mona Lisa", I think stations are eager to play Britney for some reason.

As for the album, it will either be called "Original Doll" or "Britney Unleashed"..."Original Doll" sounds better. It's due in spring of 2006. I also heard Ashlee Simpson is also coming out with a new CD called "Give Me Cake". It's due this winter; but it seems like it will be postponed.

"Someday I Will Understand" will probably be as big as "Everytime" if it gets enough promotion, otherwise it will fall flat on its face.

A friend of mine emailed this to me. Don't know the original source, but I'd have to say that I agree and would love to see the thing with the bear actually happen :)

Glamour UK reports "Britney Spears says her new single is all about having a child, but Britney says she wrote it two weeks before she discovered she was pregnant. "I wrote this song at my piano, at my house. I wrote it two weeks before I found out that I was pregnant, so it was really kind of weird, because the song's about having a baby … It's kind of like a prophecy … Everyone in general should voice their wishes more, because I think the more you throw it out to the universe, if you're in the right space and place in your life, it's weird how the universe gives it back to you.”

Someone should probably sit Britney down and explain where babies come from, cause, correct me if I’m wrong, its not from the Universe after it heard your crappy song and decided you were ready. "Prophecy" might not be the only way to predict that unprotected sex with an idiot hillbilly who is too drunk/stupid to pull out might lead to pregnancy. It's also charming that someone who has been handed millions like Britney thinks the reason the rest of us aren’t rich is because we don’t “voice our wishes more.” Jesus Christ I hate these two. I gotta get me a bear. And teach it to maul anything in sky blue Fubu and backwards Yankees hats. And then release it in Malibu. Once chunks of Kevin showed up in the bears stool, animal control might be pretty upset, but then I’d explain it was Kevin Federline and we’d all have a pretty good laugh.

*Pulls himself back up off the floor*

Thank you for the best laugh I've had in awhile! Sadly, I agree with you... K-Fed is an idiot and she could have done better. But, alas..

You know how people say "Kids think their parents are wrong, but later in life, they realize that they were correct."? That goes here. In July 2004, Britney Spears proposed (or was it earlier that year...can't remember). Anyway, her parents ALWAYS DISAGREED with Britney Spears with K-Fed. And now, look at where Britney's at now.

But yeah, that was a funny post, one of the first funny posts in awhile. The song's not too bad though.
