I am trying to find information, preferably photos, on a particular (fairly common, for the era) Broadcast Electronics console. It was installed at an AM/FM combo I worked for in the early 1980's. The three studios AM control, production room and FM control used various models in the same BE product line; two 5 channel mono units and an 8 channel stereo version in FM. This was in 1983 and the boards didn't seem to be any more than 10 - 12 years old; I assume manufactured in the 70's. I've researched the company's website and found manuals that featured similar units, but the consoles I am looking for had a variation in the design. The pots were rotary, silver colored with no silk screening, with only a slight taper of the console face. The switches had rounded knobs not the tapered design of the "newer" vintage. Last year I did find an 8 channel mono unit on eBay, but did not win the bid. I would like to outfit my vintage home studio with one of these BE units in good repair, any info would be appreciated.
