Broadcast Hill

Don't forget "Terrible Truman"

I loved that facility.

-does anybody recall when the water pipe broke in their (then) brand new studio? While the pipe was in the floor, it set off the fire sprinkler system. It was Christmas night in 1983 I think-and it soaked most of their brand new gear.

Annie "G" bravely stayed on the WBAP console, and even with the fear of electrocution, insulated her body by placing a Dallas/Ft.Worth phone book between the seat cushion and her body. She did about five hours on her knees-on that phone book. That is commitment!!!

I think the girl that was on the air at KSCS, made an over the air plea for somebody to call the Ft.Worth Fire Department, and just left the studio.
