Darryl Compton sends along word that there are still a few spaces left at tomorrow's quarterly Broadcast Legends lunch at the Doubletree Hotel at the Berkeley Marina. If you haven't attended one of these events yet, here's a great opportunity to rub elbows with the legends of Bay Area radio and television. The food is very good, the Legends' "show" is great, and you never know who you'll meet -- Al Hart, Frank Dill, Tom Saunders, Franklin Mieuli, Ken Ackerman, Don Mozley, Bob (Captain Satellite) March, Fred LaCosse and Terry Lowry, and Peter Cleaveland are just a few of the dozens of regulars ... and you never know who might pop in as a surprise.
Reception begins at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, with lunch at noon. The show itself begins at about 12:45 and runs until 2 p.m. or so.
