Broadcast Network Coverage of School Shooting?

While I was listening to coverage on XM from mostly
CNN-and-MSNBC, I was certainly curious how much
coverage Broadcast Networks ran Friday? I am figuring
there was some as ABC-News ran a special report
Saturday morning of a press briefing. Also, are any
Broadcast Nets running the memorial service this
evening at 7PM Eastern? I looked in both UPI and AP,
where usually David Bauder writes TV articles. Thanks
so much in advance

Were there any special network reports for local FOX stations on the day of the shootings?

It was mentioned here in Connecticut that the service is closed to the media.

The Big Three networks all had saturation coverage from roughly 10 AM to 2 PM PT. I know CBS was on a bit earlier seeing as they were in progress just before Price was to start (it never aired at all in the Pacific zone). NBC and ABC joined in around 10:15 PT.

Thanks all 3 of Thanks much for these replies. This
evening just after 530PM here in Southern Cal, all 3 of
the regular Broadcast Nets ran the President's speech,
also noticed it on France24, Cspan1, MSNBC, FNc, and
CNN took an entire service. Thanks again

Al-Jazeera English also ran live coverage of the President's speech as well.

Some people were so offended that President Obama's speech interrupted the SNF match, they took to Twitter to spout off their angry responses, not just at the president, but at NBC for preempting the game.

Note: all but one of the tweets have subsequently been deleted(along with the offending accounts).

I'm betting the one that wasn't deleted came from the one person on Deadspin's list that didn't stoop so low as to use profanities and the nasty racial slur - unless I read it wrong. It was the last one on that page when I saw it.

NBC moved the game to CNBC during Obama's speech, and I think might have been on NFL Network or NFL.com as well (I was in a sports bar at the time, and I definitely saw CNBC programming after the game was resumed on NBC - the bar had both channels on - and one of the guys was watching on his phone via the NFL app).

This was not deja vu Heidi all over again. It was early in the game, and it was the President of the United States speaking after a horrific tragedy, not an entertainment program. This was more important than football.

I am a loyal Patriots fan, but I didn't mind a bit the game was interrupted by the President's remarks.
Paying tribute to 20 innocent children and 6 adults murdered by a maniac is more important to me than any football game.
