BROADCASTERS PONDER FCC SPECTRUM RECLAMATION

This proposal should have everyone who receives TV OTA outraged after they spent lots of money on converter boxes, antennas, amplifiers, etc, to get DTV OTA.


This will not happen, Case Closed.
Not with TV. But FM Radio has a chance to claim some of that spectrum though (Like 87.7 Mhz. on down).

But even that will no doubt be on a shared basis from everyone ranging from the military (You know they'd like to expand the aircraft band) to Hams (We could use expansion of the 6 meter & 220 Mhz bands) to LPFMers with maybe a smattering of Public Safety going after the abandoned UHF spectrum for trunking systems.

Just my opinion.....
