Broadcasting And Cable.com Article On Fox's Plans For It's Soon-To-Be-Ex-UPN Stations

WHAT THE...?! (holding back the urge to cuss)

This to me is the most shocking and disturbing news that I have ever heard recently. Just when you thought that the television business had learned its lesson over two failed networks, someone up and starts ANOTHER potentally garbage network with an even shoddier name! I have to side with the pessimists on this board that say it's not going to work; in fact I hope and pray to The Almighty that it doesn't work (I say this because I was hoping that those stations could start over again as independents).

Alternatively, they could spare themselves the legal trouble and offer to take the MY Network affiliation in Boston. They shouldn't have any problem with this especially since it's likely that The CW will go to CBS O&O WSBK 38.

Cheers :)

Unless I miss my guess, WSBK 38 will join The CW. My guess is that WZMY 50 will save themselves the legal trouble, suck up and sign on with the MY Network where they stand a chance of survival.

JMO... :)

Cheers :)
