Steve Mason will be sorely missed at WXBR. I've enjoyed listening to his daily anecdotes in the mornings for a couple of years now. I wish him well in his future endeavours, and hope to hear him again soon somewhere else on the dial.
Steve was a great asset to the station. He had some big shoes to fill when Charlie Bergeron stepped down and left the station. He did a great job filling those shoes. He knew radio and he KNEW the city. He cares about what happens there.
IMO they have just killed what little good was left of 1460.
Best of luck Steve! Maybe someday you and BEvo the "megabucks cow" will show up somewhere. (anyone else remember BEvo?)
