Browns Coverage

The Browns firing their coach and GM is about the biggest thing that can happen to set all of the major media outlets in town into "Red Alert" mode.

The presser featuring owner Jimmy Haslam and CEO Joe Banner was carried live on TV by 3, 5, 8, 19, and STO; on the radio by 1100 and 100.7 (the flagships), as well as 850 and 92.3 (the 2 big sports stations)

And it goes without saying all the newspapers in the area (PD, ABJ, Elyria Chronical, News Herald) were there en masse as well.

*Heck, while they didn't carry the presser, even TBN affiliate WDLI TV 17 put a scroll at the bottom of the screen saying "Please pray for the Browns".

* - just kidding on WDLI ;)

WDLI may as well put a crawl. The Browns could use a lot of prayer for next season.

To quote Tony Rizzo, "I've had it with sucking!" Hopefully the Browns will get it right soon...

was Rizzo talking about his show?

Rizzo was talking about how bad the Browns are. And that wasn't the only on-air tirade he's had on his show about the Browns; I'm hoping the Browns do something to turn the team around before Rizzy has a heart attack on the air...

*woosh*

Now that the Browns hired Rob Chudzinski, the media was again in full force for the presser:

3, 5, 8, 19, and STO on the tube; 850, 1100, 100.7, and 92.3 on the radio; and the PD, ABJ, Chronicle-Telegram, and News Herald on the print side.

For certain Steve Doerschuck of the Canton Repository was probably there as well..
