Browns games no longer on in Dayton

Just noticed today that WKKI - 94.3-FM - in Celina is being listed as on the Browns' Radio Network. It has 5,200 watts. Could its signal reach the Dayton area - maybe into its northern suburbs?
 
Like gr8, I've heard K94 in Piqua with a pretty listenable signal. I have heard it just south of there in Troy as well, although that was 20 years ago, well before the advent of HD Radio. Assuming 94.5 runs HD Radio as pretty much every music station seems to do nowadays, I bet WKKI is a tough listen in Troy if it can be heard there at all, and forget it south of there.
I'm afraid you're going to be out of luck finding a Browns affiliate with any reach into southwest Ohio until a station down that way picks them up.

It's not just Dayton that's lost its affiliate. Western Ohio is completely without coverage other than the station in Fostoria. Nothing in Toledo or Youngstown, two markets in which it's simply inexcusable for them to lack coverage. This is as poor an excuse for a professional team's radio network as I've ever seen, to be honest. Granted they're a pretty bad team, but given that history in this region, just wow.
 
I noticed yesterday that an FM station at 87.7 m.c. in Cleveland will be covering the Browns' games in Spanish. That is a nice idea, but I would also like the team to get their network back to what it was so their games can at least be heard statewide.
 
Unfortunately it has not. I checked around the AM radio dial shortly before 1:00 P.M. today, but didn't find anything resembling Browns' coverage. I am able to get it on-line out of Cleveland although that runs just under a minute behind what is going on in the game and (as I have previously noted) doesn't allow it to be taken outside the home). I watched the game today on TV via NFL Ticket at my daughter's (and also have a satellite dish that picks up Cleveland channels here at my house). One thought I have had would be for WING 1410-AM to pick up the Browns, but since they carry the Reds that would have to be after after their season is over at the end of this month. I'd like to e-mail WING, but have been unable to find an e-mail for that station or any names or station officials from there that I could e-mail. Would anyone have anything on that?
 
Last night, I was out and could not be at a TV for most of the first half of the Browns' game with the Jets. However, I was able to listen to it via WSAI-1360-AM who was airing the Westwood One coverage of Thursday Night Football. That's the kind of situation I have been mentioning as to how having the games on radio in this area assists those who are unable to be home or otherwise have a TV available.

Also, this afternoon, WLW aired a tape of Jim Donovan calling the final seconds of the game as heard on the Browns Network. Really nice to hear - especially that particular version.
 
Very good news. Just a couple of questions. Just wondering how far the signal of WZLR may be heard at 95.3 m.c.? Also, that station is also on 101.1 m.c. (not 101.9 m.c. as written on the twitter page). How far may the signal on that frequency be heard? Kind of ironic this information comes out on the same day the Browns fired their head coach and offensive co-ordinator.

95.3 will be better the further northeast from Cincinnati you are. The signal isn't great here in Sharonville but it's more listenable than 95.7 for sure: https://radio-locator.com/pats/WZLR_FM_LU.gif

101.1 fills in 95.3's signal in central and west Dayton, and since there's a 101.1 in Cincinnati, you're not going to hear it unless you're smack dab in Dayton: https://radio-locator.com/pats/W266BG_FX_LU.gif

A bonus here if you happen to have an HD radio is that 95.3 is rebroadcast on WHKO 99.1's HD-2 channel, in order to feed the 101.1 translator. 99.1 is a monster of a signal, so if you have HD you'll probably be able to hear the Browns almost all the way down to downtown Cincinnati: https://radio-locator.com/pats/WHKO_FM_LU.gif
 
Just wondering if anyone had the opportunity last Sunday (Nov. 4) to tune in to 95.3 - FM and see how the signal of the station was during the Browns-Chiefs' game? I tried tuning it in here last week during the week and did pick it up in the car somewhat, but with quite a bit of interference. I assume the thing to try is driving into the northern suburbs of Cincinnati to see how the signal gets.
 
You should be in good shape north of 275. I've listened to 95.3 and 95.7 driving down 71 all the way to around 275 and the interference does pick up quite a bit once you're south of 275.
 
I had a good pick-up of WZLR (95.3-FM) in my car yesterday right after the Browns' game. Was sitting at the traffic light at East Galbraith & Montgomery roads in the Kenwood area and it came right in while the coach was talking.
