Among many things in Chicago, he created Chicago Tonight on WTTW/11, as well as founding the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago, has died at age 81. Cause of death was not specified. He also hosted Illinois Lawmakers on WTTW, and worked at WBBM-TV/2.
