Sad indeed.
Took them until 10pm to run a piece on it though - nothing in the 9pm. The piece surprisingly included some footage from WLKY (ah, the wonder of YouTube) where he had been until his 1995 arrival in Arizona. (His first job at 10 was likely morning anchor!)

Another great guy...a fine journalist....and way too young.
Years ago, Bruce told me that his radio years included a brief weekend gig at KHJ...under a different name...but he'd never say what that name was. I can't figure it out...anybody here know?
