Former PD Buckeyes beat writer and Columbus radio veteran Bruce Hooley has been spending a lot of time at the Galleria lately, and probably not for lunch at the food court.
He's filling in for Tony Rizzo today and Friday, and has been a frequent guest on RBS and R&R in the last month or so.
Anyone think he's being brought aboard KNR to bolster their lineup in preparing for the launch of 92.3 The Fan?
Maybe either with his own show, part of KNR's Buckeye coverage, or perhaps as another spoke on the RBS wheel (Lord knows they can use another grown up on the show).
For those that don't know, Hooley was a mainstay on WBNS AM/FM in Columbus, and he really laid into Jim Tressel when the "Tattoo-Gate" scandal went down. Well, BNS is the flagship for OSU football and basketball, and station owner Dispatch Media felt Bruce was rocking the boat a little too much, so he was wished well in his future endeavors.
Since then, Hooley has been a columnist on FS Ohio's website, and has been a frequent guest on "ESPN Cleveland's" airwaves.
I just find it interesting to see if perhaps GKB feels the need to put another bullet in the chamber for the upcoming duel with 92.3.
