Steve, I think he's out covering the Elmer Wayne Henley trial. Sorry...had to do it! Did you ever hear that made-up tape that Bruce Hughes did? Wonderful!
 
That copy has been copied many times over. People "loved it with a bowling ball grip";)

Last I heard (and this was 1992) Bruce was living in Oklahoma and was making a living as a house painter. I'd love to hear from him too if he is still around.

I am in the process of mastering some pretty priceless audio to digital, and ran across the KLIF documentary that was produced after Bruce became directly involved with, and successfully negotiated, the surrender of a robber who had kidnapped and shot a woman in Waco and wound up near Love Field in Dallas. A good deal of it all broadcast on KLIF. Pretty ripping stuff.
