We miss him. Broomhandle may be smarter, but he's not as funny. Sorry but Dumber & Dumbest are no substitutes for just an average guy, Bruce!

I so agree with you! I enjoy Broomie, and find his show quite good, but he doesn't make me laugh the way Bruce did. I miss Bruce's stories, his mangled language, and general lovability. If only Bruce would come back to us!

And I've grown weary of JD's pomposity. I prefer him in very small doses. Perhaps he'll leave soon to campaign in earnest. <fingers crossed>

Jacobs should have stuck to sports...on KFYI, he was just another right wing gasbag. And not very funny at that. At least Rush can be humorous at times.

Think I heard him a few weeks ago on a Saturday overnight sports show..not sure if Fox Sports or Sporting News Network.

IMHO, his best stuff was with Mike Golic on KGME a while back. The guy's great to listen to on sports talk.

Bruce Jacobs is on now (4 December, 1-6 pm) on the Gambo & Ash show on Sports 620 KTAR. Bruce is substituting from John Gambadoro.

I missed the beginning of the show. Jacobs seems to be very friendly with Mark Asher. Bruce sounds so much better talking sports with a co-host.

Well, they all did work together at KGME/XTRA for several years.

Jacobs is OK doing sports, but needs a partner to work with. He's horrible as a solo act; his best days were with Mike Golic back in the mid '90s on 1360.
