BRUCE NEWBURY LANDED QUICKLY

I heard him briefly on WPRV Saturday so it didn't take long for someone to pick up his show.

I think his Dining Out show used to be on in Newport too but don't know if it still is.Who says career opportunities don't abound in Providence?

He's on WXLM 104.7 in CT. Not sure the signal gets into RI, but it does stream online. Don't believe he's on the Newport station (1540 AM) any longer.

Bruce did not pay for his air time. He worked got a portion of the sales revenue and got paid commission for whatever he sold. He syndicated the show on his own.

Beyond Westerly, WXLM's signal is terrible in Rhode Island. It is destroyed by the Cape's far superior signal on 104.7, WOCN (Ocean 104.7, yet another AC station on the Cape).
