Bruce St James on News 92.3 KTAR...

Making some VERY HUGE POINTS on certain issues.. a lot of common sense thinking being used here, especially in the 11 o clock hour of 06/19/09.

He claims to have little experience in talk radio, but.... so far he sounds very much qualified, and I'll just keep it at that. Some may argue that this may not be one of the best talk radio show segments, but I'll just say that the ONLY reason I could tell he has little experience in talk radio is because he mentioned it.

As a fill in and a new comer to talk, he pulled it off and pulled it off well, and best of all, each topic he discussed was either based on facts or judged from a common sense point of view.

This is my overall view on his talk radio performance.

I don't think he's a newcomer to talk or KTAR. I seem to remember him doing a daily show on KTAR for at least a couple of years.

yep, he did have a daily gig before. wonder if he's still trying to drive the sprint car...if he;s still doing the conservative thing one would have to assume he turned if over a few too many times at Manzy.

IIRC, he did early afternoons after Tony Femino left, while he was still PD at KKFR. When KKFR left the stable, so did Bruce.

I thought he sounded pretty good - - he was handling race today towards the end of the show. Liked his stance on reparations - some callers didn't tho! He handled it well.
