Brucie (and his listeners) should be happy

Word is that WABC will be shortening its Saturday Night Oldies program by 1 hour (from 6-10) to 6-9 PM.

Cousin Brucie is on Sirius XM (60s on 6) from 8 pm – Midnight and there's always been that 2 hr overlap.
Even going back to Palisades Park days Brucie would always say, "Come on over!"

I wonder which infomercials will now have the honor of airing in prime time on Saturday nights...

:) I think its better for Mark to shorten it also. I also love to listen to Cousin B he is the man for Oldies!! Cousin B keeps the music ALIVE!! :)

the notorious Cherry Vanilla(70s Warhol star, part of the Mainman circus) claims to have 'spent some time' with our favorite Cousin back in the day in order to get David Bowie's "Space Oddity' played on the WABC 'Super Hit Survey';
Top 40 AM was resisting the glitter rock stars from England in the early 70s cos they thought they were gonna turn the kids gay(but then disco came along and turned everyone gay anyway)...

Mark's Saturday morning show was recently decreased from 4 hours to 3. It is a very long day for him, so this is likely for the better. I disapprove of the show's playing more 70s and 80s music. SNO is becoming more talk intensive. People who want more music should turn to the Cuz or Joe Causi on WCBS-FM.
