Did anybody else hear Tony Bruno's segment with Gary Randich today? They announced that, starting Monday, Bruno would be back on 1050 from 6-10 AM. Great news...I don't understand what took KNBR so long to bring Tony back.

That is awesome...

With The Dog House headed for New York, something good to listen to in the morning...

The Morning Show that they have with Tim Liotta and that dip, Brian Murphy is horrible. Since 1050's supposed to cover 680's backside in the ratings, they may have figured that simulcasting that show would help it. When FSR let Bruno go (or however it happened), no one here like Van Earl Wright and they decided to play their local morning show on 680 on 1050. Bob Agnew told me in an e-mail that this show would be better than FSR's Extravanganza (he was right to a certain degree and wrong in other things!).

I think Salvadore did this for ratings sake and probably because of all the e-mails he may have received. People who run radio stations could care less about their listeners as long as they're making money.

Bruno will be 1050 from 6am to 9am. and Rome will follow as usual.

YYYYYYYYYEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!! You know, it only makes sense. Why have the same show on 680 and 1050 (which isn't all that good anyways) when Bruno is available now. I'm sure glad to hear this, and glad to know that 1050 is willing to listen to our feedback (I sent them some feedback myself about this very thing about a month ago). This is fantastic news.

Perhaps they don't care about the listner specifically (only the ratings), but at least they are responding to what we want- even if it is simply a business decision. Good job, KTCT (errrrr...KNBR)!!!<P ID="signature">______________
