(BRW) Barstool sports off WWZN/Dennis file

Boston Radio Watch links to the Herald's Inside Track, which reveals that WWZN has dropped "Barstool Sports"
after the show's host refused to take that John Dennis clip off its site.
It's also said once again that Ryen Russillo did not provide the clip ("I don't
know who the ---- you are"--JD) and begged the site to take the clip off.

BRW also links to the Barstool Sports site and to BostonSportsMedia.com

I guess this subject came up, and often, on the Big Show yesterday but I missed it (they even did a skit about it, says Boston Sports Media)

Did John Dennis Leak The Message Himself?? (Was: Re: (BRW) Barstool sports off WWZN/Dennis file)

Could John Dennis himself have leaked the tape of his voicemail message to Ryen Rusillo??

Think about it. If he recorded it at 4:30 A.M. (as has been claimed), he could have gone into an Entercom production room (if he had arrived at work early), used a phone connected to a recording device of some sort, and recorded the message as he was leaving it on Rusillo's answering machine.

Or, if still at home, he could have connected a special recording microphone that attaches to the receiver of a telephone (widely available as places like Radio Shack) and connected it to a cassette recorder and likewise have recorded his message while he was leaving it on Rusillo's machine.

Although I don't know if it's true, maybe Dennis was irate as to what Rusillo did to his daughter that he not only left a voicemail message, but recorded it and leaked the recording, hoping that Rusillo's radio show would be dropped. Indeed, Rusillo's show has now been dropped by WWZN-1510.

I'm not saying that this is what happened, but it's certainly one of several possibilities as to why the tape got leaked. If someone who, like Dennis, had a sports talk show and wanted to "destroy" the career of another sports talk show host over what that host "did" to a family member, one could record his own nasty voicemail message to that host and leak it to the media, hoping to damage that other host's career.

Why would John Dennis let a voice male that makes him sound like the biggest buffoon on the planet get out to the public? Sounds like you've concocted quite the conspiracy theory if you ask me.

Russillo is still with 1510. What are you talking about?

Yea, Michael Madsen fell ill.
The part of Mr.Blonde on today's
installment of Sports Radio Dogs
will be played by Dildo Dennis.
Ryen Rowtillo will play the part of
Mr. Orange.

Act 1, Scene 1
Ears and Nose all gone
Balls are knocked about head

"Listen kid, I'm not gonna bullsh*t you, all right?
I don't give a good f*ck what you know, or don't know,
but I'm gonna torture you anyway, regardless. Not
to get information. It's amusing, to me, to torture a sports
talk show host. You can say anything you want cause I've
heard it all before. All you can do is pray for a quick
death, which you ain't gonna get. "

Re: Did John Dennis Leak The Message Himself?? (Was: Re: (BRW) Barstool sports off WWZN/Dennis file)

... I doubt Dennis leaked it... but I'll bet that Ryen got "Barstool Sports" bounced from WWZN... after all, didn't he ask Barstool Sports to drop the sound-file from their site?
