BRW: DePetro, Dennis, and more

Latest Boston Radio Watch has bits on the J. Dennis and J. DePetro controversies. I haven't heard the DePetro
vs. Dan Yorke tussle "tape" yet, but DePetro's site (which still needs some updating--
he's long gone from WHJJ, and does he still do something on Cox cable or not?)
has a statement of sorts pledging that the Funny Cookie Company
might wind up fining WPRO over some of the F-bombs, and that the tape may
soon wind up on the Net.

"The Independent Message Board"'s last listing is from Oct 13 of last year.
When you click "About the Show" on DePetro.com, it says he's on from 10 am to 2 pm. And on another page: "The John DePetro Radio Show is heard live on 920 WHJJ from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Friday. The John DePetro Radio Show is the only local radio show simulcast on Cox cable television channel 3 live from Noon to 1 p.m. and replayed at 11:30 p.m. The John DePetro Radio Show can also be heard live from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on 680 WRKO in Boston every Saturday."

A little updating please :) Anyway, as for Dennis, BRW says that WBCN and the Pats distanced themselves from Russillo, Rotillo, Rodillo, whatever his name is
(sorry, just channeling Dennis there for a moment) because of the controversy
while Dennis claims he had no direct influence in the manner.

Boy what a radio town we live in, eh? :)<P ID="signature">______________
