(BRW) Jim and Margery get another hour

tweet from Mark of Boston Radio Watch

>>96.9 just announced that as of Thursday(1/13), Jim&Marg get an extra hour starting at 6am.Wooohooo

So one less hour of Imus, or is he now gone totally? Currently WTKK has Phil Hendrie 1-5 am,
Imus 5-7, then J&M but now J&M will do 6-9 am

Simon with two big market radio gigs? Am I missing something? Is he paying WTKK for the clearance?

Here is the original report from the Chicagoland Radio and Media blog:

http://chicagoradioandmedia.com/new...onder-dog-james-d-jones-ed-smaron-bill-bellis

(Simon) has accepted a job offer to also be a weekend host at WTKK-FM in Boston, MA. His "Simon Rendezvous" show on "96.9 Boston Talks" will air on Sunday nights from 7:00pm-10:00pm (6:00pm-9:00pm Central time). He will continue to do his overlapping show on WGN-AM from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Sundays.

A job offer. Hmmm.

Of course, Simon started his radio career on Clear Channel's WTAM/1100 here.

To all the folks in Boston, if you would like Simon all to yourself, you can have him.
I'm sure the people in The Windy City would gladly oblige.

Just for the hell of it J&M should put in a call to the RI State House. The new Gov there banned all talk radio appearances. Buzz off DePeitro.
