BRW: Severin show likely 7-10 pm?

New Boston Radio Watch says that WPHT (1210, The Big Talker) in Philly has cleared its 7-10 pm slot for the new Severin show come January. So that may, or may not,
be necessarily where "Severin Has Issues" will air nationwide (it's also possible he may be doing the show earlier, and WPHT would tape delay it).

So, will it be 'BZ or 'TKK...'BRW hints that 'TKK/Greater Media may already have a few things in their favor in terms of landing the new show, including a relationship with Infinity/Westwood One.

But if WTKK does pick up the show, and that time slot, what will happen
to the lineup? Hannity 3-6 pm, maybe a local host (Eagan and Braude? Michael
Graham? 6-7 pm, then Severin, then maybe delayed Ingraham at 10?

As for 'BZ, it could be Severin 7-10 followed by Paul Sullivan up till midnight.
That is, when he isn't pre-empted by "Shot-SCORE!!!"

I would LOVE for Eagan and Braude to go back to 3 hrs during the week, but I wonder what would have to Laura? She's funny and great...and I'm a Dem LOL

E&B 3hrs a day

Maybe if they were on three hours a day, they wouldn't have to talk at 100mph.

Don't really listen to E&B but can say that at least a couple on the FreeRepublic board said they can't stand the show...I think Laura actually does an hour or
two in the morning and then comes back at 8 pm or so and does two hours "live"
for the benefit of WABC and WTKK; if Severin does get 7-10 at TKK they could
do something like this (_suggestion_):

6-10 am--The Don Imus Ranch
10-noon--Mike "A Yuk on Every Page" Barnicle
Noon-2--Eagan and Braude
2-4 pm --Tape delayed Bill O'Reilly
4-7 pm Sean Hannity (first hour rebroadcast at 6 pm)
7-10 pm Jay "Live! From New York" Severin
10p-1 am tape delayed Laura I.

I'll root for WBZ, then it will be Bruins Hockey or other special events regularly pre-empting the show.....the less Jay we hear, the better for Boston. All WTKK will be able to do is provide some lower-tier conservative broadcaster that no one is really interested in. (keep Ingraham, Hewitt, Graham...all lower tier yawners)

GO WBZ!

If im in boston and I can't hear 'KOX/'KXS, i could tolerate Eagan and Braude for a bit....but i don't know how anyone leaning left could claim to enjoy Ingraham....I won't debate your claim..but it seems troubling to me...

Eagan and Braude (Colmes-lite) do have great chemistry and sometimes they do have some interesting topics....i hope they do get more than one hour.

like Sean Hannity and his 13 million listeners?

I know this is likely impossible for you to comprehend but one need not agree with a broadcaster's politics to enjoy his or her program.

Re: Jay Severin

If indeed the live feed of Jay Severin will be from 7 to 10 P.M., it will be heard locally on WBZ-1030 or, if Infinity launches a new FM talk station, on that new station, regardless of what time of the day or night it airs.

But if the live feed is during daytime hours, and if Infinity doesn't launch a new FM talk outlet (as Boston Radio Watch has speculated), Jay Severin will continue to be heard on WTKK-96.9.

With all due respect to the psychic abilities of Boston radio watch (Gufaw gufaw), Infinity did not sign Severin to a syndication deal NOT to have him on an infinity station in the only market where anybody knows who he is. Also while BZ seems the obvious fit Severin allegedly has a sizable ego which I cant see allowing him to move from drivetime to evenings even on a nationwide powerhouse like BZ.

Just my impressions.

no lower tier, like Laura Ingraham, Mike Gallagher, Hugh Hewitt, and others

Hannity is definately upper tier - but still is not a good listen
