Bryan Beck leaves KGSR

First of all, I can't believe the child wonder I hired and fired at "All Star Rock & Roll" KTXZ is 47.

Secondly, Bryan grew up to be a top notch radio personality. The best of luck to him.

He probably left because KGSR isn't top knotch.
Seriously, when are they gonna wake up and flip?

All the crap, and nothing else. KSGR We Are Crap. Why the KGSR calls still, KRAP has already been assigned?

Best of luck to Bryan. He should apply at 99.5 KISS down in San Antonio, they are in need of a ratings boost. Given that a non compete agreement is not intact. If it is, then I hope he got a nice severence.

Ya'll really might want to actually read the article. He and his wife are moving to San Francisco to take over some property that is in his wife's family. The two of them are simply turning a page in their lives.

I hope he likes paying the high cost of living there along with the horrid amount of Taxes. That was just a suggestion, as I don't know why anyone would want to move to a state in a financial crisis such as California, just my two cents.

But if he wants to do that, great more power to him. But I still think KGSR should call it quits with it's current format, and others seem to agree. They are some good music stations out there in San Francisco don't get me wrong. Add the nicer weather to the mix, too.

The ratings for KGSR are up, so both of you calling for the flip may be premature, or just wrong.

KGSR did, indeed, go back up in the latest ratings. From what I understand, it makes decent money for Emmis in spite of some of its struggles. The 25-54 numbers, I've been told, are quite-a-bit better than the 12+ showing. I also understand it's a value-added buy for some advertisers who want on Bob and KLBJ-FM.
