Bryan Suits (Ex-KFI Evening) out at KVI Seattle

Former KFI evening man Bryan Suits, who was doing mornings at KVI Seattle, is now out of his morning show since the station will flip to oldies on Monday, however he is in a long contract and will probably stay with the station when it flips oldies.

Any Thoughts?

Here's a thought: Bryan was a GENIUS for getting a no-cut contract with KVI. Guess he learned his lesson after they fired him once before.

I wouldn't expect to hear him spinnin' the piles o' platters @ the "new" KVI, however.

Not bad, he can be like Leykis, basically do nothing and collect a paycheck and get fat (I don't know how much fatter Suits can get, he must have put on at least 200 lbs since his Iraq days)

You can't keep a good talker down. I'm sure he will show up somewhere on the west coast, although I bet he has a non-compete in Seattle, and as long as he is still being paid, he most likely can't challenge that.

His nightly talker with Kennedy a while back was horrible, I couldn't wait until he was canned. Then one day I heard him on a weekend show and I could hardly believe it was the same stammering, fumbling Suits, except without the awkward pauses and disjointed delivery. He's able to explain what is happening overseas very clearly and it is quite a compelling listen, I make it a point to catch the Dark Secret Place Show whenever I can.

...sorry to say, that wasn't the sequence of events with Leykis; Tom got fat first, then collected the paycheck, then did nothing (after KLSX was murdered, heh heh) ;D ...

I remember when Bryan Suits did mornings in Modesto, CA on then KHOP-Rock 104.1 as part of "The Dawn Patrol" from 1993-96. His cohosts included Charlee Simmons, Wayne Coy and Mark Taylor. In fact, I remember when Bryan Suits did Modesto's version of "The Mark & Brian Show" with Mark Taylor. In December of 1994, when KDJK-95.1 switched from AOR to Alternative Rock, they picked up the syndicated Mark & Brian Show from Los Angeles. KHOP then used Bryan Suits & Mark Taylor as "The Mark & Bryan Show". Only lasted for a week or two before they became "The Bryan & Clark Show" (Mark Taylor mysteriously became Clark Taylor on-air). Bryan Suits left KHOP in 1996 and moved over to crosstown Classic Rocker, KVFX-96.7 The Fox briefly before moving to Salt Lake City with Charlee Simmons again to KBER-101.1.

One thing's for sure - he'll never leave the pacific northwest physically.
