BTW I'm trying out Box.net

In the process of uploading a file. Will try to figure out what the next step is when done.

OH why YSI do you have to charge??? (I'm sad;,,( ...it was so easy to use and reliable:( I know these businesses are trying to make money though and it's their servers and bandwidth space. Of course, I was bawling when napster was being shut down too.

Well, first try was a 79min. 320kbs big file that didn't finish uploading with no explenation. Second try was a 73MB 128kbs file that uploaded to 71MB. Then a few minutes later when I checked to see if it was done there was an "error" message saying, "You will need to upgrade your Box.net account to upload files larger than 10MB". I thought I read 1GB was the limit for the free account.

Megaupload, Bigupload, and hundreds more

Have you tried Megaupload.com? It has an interface similar to YSI, with a max file size of 250 MB (lowered from 500 MB). There are some porn sponsored links, but it works okay. Plus you are able to use a download manager - important for slow connections.
There's also Bigupload.com with a 2 GB limit and a similar interface to megaupload.com.

And if that weren't all, here's reviews of HUNDREDS of other file hosting sites:

One of them has just got to work better than YSI.

Will look into those and thanks. I just used SendSpace.com this morning and it's very similar to YSI.
