Bubba Bo is Back on 700 WLW

Announcement to Bubba Bo fans!

This second rebirth of the Bubba Bo weekend edition of America's Trucking Radio has happened. Bubba Bo will be brought to you by Idle Buster. He will not be an employee of WLW or clear channel, but will be the spokesman for Idle Buster who will be paying his salary so that he can bring the weekend audience LIVE PROGRAMING.

Some of the sponsors of America's Trucking Network we going to pull all advertising if the show didn't go back to a 7 day a week live format.

Even though the show is not my cup of tea, I like the idea. It's a neat way to keep everyone happy, and I'm glad they worked it out.

This kind of flies in the face of "listener's don't care" mentality that corporate radio has addopted. For those live and local activists, quit writing congress, start writing every advertiser asking them to support live & local radio by pulling ads from companies who aren't live & local. Don't call it a boycott per se but ask them to pull ads to support local radio.
